The unique feature of this boat is that its hull is made of polyethylene. The use of this material will enable better recyclability at the end of the boat’s life. Indeed, recycling composite materials, which are commonly used in hull construction, is very challenging. They are often destroyed and incinerated, emitting a significant amount of CO2.
